Robinson's Jewelers Gold Kit Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Robinson's Jewelers Gold Kit program. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our gold buying services. By sending your items to us, you agree to the following:

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be the lawful owner of all items sent to Robinson's Jewelers, free of liens or claims.

2. Shipping and Insurance

• We provide prepaid FedEx or USPS shipping labels.
• All shipments using our provided labels are automatically insured for up to $5,000.
• If your shipment value exceeds $5,000, you must contact us in advance to arrange additional insurance.
• You are responsible for properly packaging your items and obtaining a receipt confirming carrier scan.

3. Risk of Loss

• Risk of loss remains with you until the package is scanned by FedEx or USPS.
• If your package is lost after carrier scan, insurance claims will be pursued, with coverage limited as described.

4. Appraisal and Offer Process

• Upon receiving your items, we will appraise them and make an offer.
• You will be notified via email and/or text message of the offer.
• You must accept or decline the offer within 5 calendar days.
• If you do not respond within 5 days, the offer will be deemed accepted automatically, and payment will be processed.

5. Payment Options

After accepting your offer, you may choose from the following payment methods:

• Store Credit (+15% Bonus): Apply your payout toward jewelry purchases at Robinson's Jewelers and receive an additional 15% bonus.
• PayPal: Funds are sent instantly. Please note, PayPal charges a standard 3.49% + $0.50 processing fee (assessed by PayPal, not Robinson's Jewelers).
• Check by First Class USPS Mail: Mailed to your provided address. No additional fee.
• Print-at-Home Check (eCheck): Receive a secure PDF check via email at no additional cost.
• Check by FedEx Express (2–3 business days): Available for an additional $15 shipping fee.
• Check by FedEx Overnight (next business day where available): Available for an additional $25 shipping fee.
• Direct Deposit (for payments over $30,000): Secure ACH transfer available with a $35 bank processing fee.

Please note: Any third-party service fees (such as PayPal processing charges) are the responsibility of the recipient.

6. Bonus Offers

If you choose to accept Store Credit instead of cash, you will receive a 15% bonus added to your offer amount.

7. Declined Offers and Return of Items

• If you decline our offer, your items will be returned to you free of charge.
• Return shipments will be insured up to the value of the offer amount, subject to a $5,000 maximum.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Robinson's Jewelers' maximum liability for any claim, loss, or damage shall not exceed the lesser of the accepted offer amount or $5,000.
• We are not responsible for loss or damage due to inadequate packaging, carrier mishandling prior to carrier scan, or customer error.

9. Claims Process

• You must notify us in writing at goldkit@robinsonsjewelers.com within 15 days of the shipping date for FedEx shipments and within 30 days for USPS shipments if you believe there is a problem.
• Supporting documentation (photos, receipts, proof of contents) may be required.

10. Ownership Warranty

• You are the sole owner of the property.
• The property is free from all claims, liens, or encumbrances.
• You have full authority to sell the property.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
• Any disputes shall be exclusively resolved in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.

12. Additional Terms

• Use of our Gold Kit services is subject to our general Robinson's Jewelers Terms of Service.
• Robinson's Jewelers reserves the right to update these Gold Kit Terms at any time without notice.
